I build research at the boundary of earth systems, energy infrastructure, mineral supply chains, and public policy.
My work asks a practical question: how do the materials, landscapes, markets, and communities behind the energy transition actually fit together? I combine geoscience, economic reasoning, spatial analysis, and data systems to study critical minerals, hydrogen, mining, water, and infrastructure constraints.
